We send our deepest thoughts and love to the family. Thinking of June brings back many memories of childhood. She was the oldest of two brothers. I happen to be the middle child. My memories are still very vivid of our childhood. June loved to play dolls with me and my youngest brother Byron. June gave each of our dolls names and we had to abide by that rule. We had our playhouses and she was always the boss. We had many hours of fun.
One thing that impressed me was how gentle she was with the little birds and animals. She often played on the back porch. A little wren bird built a nest on the porch railing every year. Soon the eggs hatched and while playing she would talk to the birds. One day she told her mom that she could hold the litte bird. Soon she came to the door with the little wren in her hand. We were pretty amazed.
She was a wonderful sister, and we had a lot of great times together.
May she rest in peace.
Her brother, Dan
